Hey y’all! Today we are going to talk about dining rooms. I know that a lot of people never use their dining rooms. I don’t either, because I don’t have one! My previous apartment was tiny, and didn’t have anywhere to eat besides the coffee table. Luckily our current home has a beautiful granite island, with room for barstools. If we have more than 1 guest, someone’s sitting in a lawn chair or the living room!

Needless to say, I am looking forward to having a place for everyone to gather. I just love the idea of hosting dinner parties, or holiday gatherings in a dining room with grasscloth wallpaper, Chinese Chippendale chairs, and a gorgeous chandelier. In the meantime, I continue to search for inspiration – which lead me to some of the beauties I’m about to share with you!

Talk about a room with a view! While I am a big fan of window treatments, this is case for going without.
The beautiful scenery provides the dining room with a focal point.
I love how the rough hewn table top and hardwood floors pull a bit of nature indoors,
while the chic coral chairs and gold accents polish this rustic contemporary room.

That gorgeous china hutch is my favorite shade of my favorite color, and anyone who knows me knows that I love a good ginger jar!
The gold accents, crystal chandelier and caned wing back chair lend so many great layers to this space.
